Summer Fun and Building Bears

Swimming is such a hit with the kids...anytime...anyplace!  They love it!  What we don't love is a TWENTY minute adult swim because lifeguards can't read clocks...
Mitchell waiting so patiently for someone to please come and get him out of bed...
Loving on the chickens...they are growing so fast and have become even faster runners!  We are trying to train them to come when we squat down with the ultimate reward - cracked corn!
Emily got a gift card to Build-a-Bear from her fantastic primary teacher.  She has been so excited about it (as none of the kids have ever been...I know, slacker parents!) and asked week after week when we could go.  A Saturday afternoon finally presented itself, Annie grabbed her saved money, I chipped in a few dollars and away we went!
They had so much fun creating their bears and choosing a heart and vacuuming the fluff.  I was shocked at how SOFT these little friends are!
But, the best part - choosing outfits to dress them in.  Adorable!!!!  Our neighbor Tara came with us to have this fun experience!  I think we took a good 45 minutes trying on clothes and making these all-important decisions!  Such a fun afternoon!!!
