We had a low-key 4th this year, actually celebrating several nights! We went to an outdoor bluegrass concert with our new friends, Gillian and Nate Smith, which got rained out - crazy sudden storms!!! We also went to a friend's to watch the local fireworks. Such a fun time! They let Andy take the pontoon out (chock full of children) on the lake. I stayed with Mitchell on the bank and got to snuggle with him through all of the "booms!"
We did a local parade - that was all about throwing candy. Yes, we still have almost 100 suckers leftover from this crazy 30 minute-madness!
We came home for Mitchell's nap and a movie. Afterwards, we ventured outside for a bit of water fun! Definitely miss having a pool close by! We went to local fireworks on the actual 4th and all loved the variety!
