Music and Dancing

Mitchell, perching on his favorite seat in the house, needed to be entertained.  Annie brought home her reading book about kittens (another Mitchell love) and was recruited to keep him busy!
 Cutie-dancer girls!!!
Annie and Emily both begged to take ballet.  After the first class of a six-week session, they had changed their tunes!  The last day was a little display for the parents of all they learned.  This picture captures almost exactly how much Annie loved being there!
 Stretching...
Little Emily - concentrating so hard to get it right!
They did each move twice across the floor.  I was completely shocked by Annie's incredible muscle definition.  Between gymnastics, ballet, and running around outside every chance she gets, this girl is strong!!!  She is actually also pretty good at ballet, but I think it just moves too slow for her...
 Fun Fest Fundraiser at school.
 Very First Piano Recital!
Ben looked so GQ - dress shirt, jeans, jacket w/o a tie, shined shoes - until he realized most of the other students weren't dressed up.  He still looked fantastic and played very well!
Cindy, our fabulous teacher.  She comes over on Friday mornings at 7:30, so we can fit piano into our lives.  While I take the kids to the bus, she plays with Mitchell and Emily, waiting for me to get back so I can do my lessons also.  Such a gem of a woman!!!
Our simple duet of Canon in D - my main reason for wanting to take lessons...love that song - even after playing it hundreds of times!
