Baby Girl Maas

We wanted to let you all know that on Friday March, 16, 2007 the newest Maas family addition came into the world. She was 8 lb. 6 oz. and 21 ½ inches long. Mom and Baby are doing great. Her name is Emily Maas. We are very excited about having another little girl.

Playing the waiting game

We came into the hospitalThis morning and now we are playing the waitng game until the newest maas family addition arrives. Lindsey says that this is the best IV that she has ever had. The doctor should be in any minute now to administer some pain medication and then we will be well on our way to a family of 5. We will update everyone via email, phone, and this site, so check back often

He's Still Got the Moves

Because we need more excitement and scheduling in our lives, Andy has joined a coed soccer league that plays on Friday nights! And, we all love it! He has started running (yeah!) and rememmbers how much he loves to play soccer. After the first few minutes of the first game, the "coach" moved him to forward where he loves to play. Ben loves to run around with the other kids at the games - dressed in a similar manner to dad. They came home one night after being at the soccer store, and I about flipped out when Ben showed me his $8.00 soccer socks - that match dad's! He has cleats from his cousin, and I found him shinguards at a garage sale. So - this little boy is definitely styling as he kicks around his little ball on the sidelines. Last night he "kicked lots of points really hard!" Annie loves the snacks that come with each game, and I've loved sitting outside enjoying the weather and realizing how much I have to learn about soccer strategy! It's been a really fun family event!

Life with a Very Pregnant Woman

Well - Things keep getting busier and busier around here. We are planning for our third child any day now. Linsdey's due date is March 22, 2007. However, yesterday she went to the doctor and the baby is measuring a week big. I just got an email from Lindsey with the following link: http://pregnancychildbirth.suite101.com/article.cfm/tired_of_being_pregnant. I think she is as described. Miserable, can't sleep, etc. Hopefully things will start moving soon and before you know it we will have the newest Maas family addition.

We Have Entered a New Stage of Life

I figures that it is time that we finally break down and start runing our own blog site. With our very busy schedules this will at least allow for Lindsey and myself to stay in contact on a more regular basis. Currently, we are on the 10:00 to 11:00 basis. Meaning that we see and talk to eachother from the hours of 10:00pm to 11:00pm. We hope that you engoy this and we will try to add plenty of content so that you do not get bored with us.
