Easter, Take 2

 Our Easter Bunny comes on Saturday; he understands that works better for our family.  It also worked well this year because our neighbors wanted to do an egg hunt for the kids.  Miss Linda is one of our favorite people; she is really the neighbor that everyone wants to have!  Her daughter, Brittany has been living with her the last several months studying to take her professional exams.  Brittany's boyfriend, Chad (with the awesome sweater), was in town visiting for the weekend.  SO - they all put together bags with goodies and filled eggs that were hidden in both of our yards.

 Mitchell had just woken up from his nap.  He is just so cute!!!  Once he realized he was supposed to find EGGS!!! again, he was all over this activity!

 Just try and tell me that cowlick isn't the awesomest thing ever!!!

What a beautiful day it was!  Until...I didn't listen to some promptings. 
Consequences:
*Mitchell broke a crystal candy dish
*Late for church to clean it up
*small shard stuck in my foot
*3 digging sessions with Andy, me in tears, still in pain
*24 hours, 4 x-rays, and an incredibly painful numbing shot, and $219 later, no more crystal in my foot!!!  (FYI - if you are going to get glass stuck in your foot, crystal is the right kind because it shows up so well on x-rays since it has lead in it!)
*no running to 2 weeks = crazy mom!!!
