Rest of the Doerk Visit

We took Grandma and Aunt Jamie to visit the Kirtland Visitors Center, where our favorite missionary (Sis. Alicia Webb) is currently serving!  She taught Annie's primary class for a few weeks while we were in Texas.  My girls just LOVE her!  This is the Revelation Room, where Joseph Smith received The Word of Wisdom, a health code.

The girls with Sister Webb!  She only has 6 weeks left in Ohio!!!
Teaching Grandpa to play corn hole, a classic Ohio game!
 Grandma pushing (again) the swing!
 Ben flying through the sky!
I already posted about Ben's actual birthday and baptism, but here is his awesome cake!
Obligatory family pictures!  Love these sweet kiddos!

Grandpa trying to read the paper.  The big kids were occupied, but Mitchell had other ideas!
Another part of our Kirtland tour of the Kirtland Temple!  This church is owned by the Community of Christ Church (formerly the Reorganized LDS church).  The tour is SO different from the Kirtland Visitors Center; basic facts...  It was a great visit!  Thanks for coming and we'll see you in two years for Annie's 8th birthday...unless we have another baby before then!!

It looks like you had such a fun summer! I keep thinking about you, I need to call you and catch up. I can't BELIEVE that Clint would be graduating this year if we would have stayed! WOW time flies. Anyway, I hope you're good and I'll try and call sometime soon.

Thanks for posting all the pictures. I love to read the updates on your family. Your writing is clever and enjoyable to read - - just like your family!

We love corn hole! I still remember when Trav came home from school one day and said that he played corn hole. I just didn't get it and told him that it sounded like a back woods Kentucky thing to me. But he and a friend made their own boards and we play all the time!
